Hapticks (“the App”) is a macOS application that pairs comfortable haptic feedback with a customizable center menu bar—widgets, actions, and integrations included.

• Email address (if voluntarily provided for beta access, licensing, or updates)
• Feedback submissions (including optional screenshots or diagnostic information)

We do not collect the content of your widgets (such as emails, messages, or files) unless required for a feature and processed locally.

3. Data Stored on Your Device

Hapticks primarily stores data locally on your device, including:

• API tokens and credentials for integrations (e.g., Jira, Slack, Google Workspace)
• Widget configurations and preferences
• Cached data used to improve performance

Sensitive data (such as API tokens) is stored securely using the macOS Keychain.

4. Third-Party Integrations

Hapticks may connect to third-party services, including:

• Atlassian (Jira)

When you connect an integration:

• You provide credentials or tokens directly
• Data is fetched only as needed to power features
• Data is not stored on our servers unless explicitly required for a feature

Your use of these services is subject to their own privacy policies and terms.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of integrations complies with your organization's policies.

5. Payments & Licensing

If you purchase Hapticks:

• Payments are processed by third-party providers (e.g., Stripe or Paddle)
• We receive limited information required to validate licenses and provide support
• We do not store full payment details

If you provide your email address, we may use it to:

• Send your license key or beta access information
• Notify you about important updates or changes
• Offer early access discounts or product announcements

You may opt out of non-essential communications at any time.

We do not sell or rent your personal data.
